Generic Slides designs and manufactures linear motion and positioning products for a wide range of commercial and OEM applications. The company works with Hardcote™ aluminum, cast iron, steel, stainless steel and various plastics to produce items such as ball and dovetail slides, manual positioning units, motor‑ready and motorized solutions, pneumatic slides, single‑axis and multi‑axis linear guides, dual‑carriage slides, X‑Y tables, pick‑and‑place modules, rotary indexers and vertical slide assemblies. In addition, Generic Slides supplies actuators, automation equipment, mechanical and electrical assemblies, hardware, housings, valves, cylinders, jigs and holding fixtures, machine bases, stations, columns, special machinery as well as equipment for medical and aerospace sectors. Development capabilities span prototype creation, design engineering, milling, turning, drilling, grinding, fabrication, welding, plating, assembly and final testing. The product portfolio supports uses that include assembly automation, material handling, laser marking and cutting, instrumentation and test equipment, medical devices, laboratory automation and aerospace hardware.
