Company record

Humphrys Textile Products Co. designs, manufactures, and distributes a broad portfolio of protective textiles that includes tarps, ball‑field covers, gymnasium floor‑cover systems, windscreens for tennis courts and athletic fields, laundry bags for linen and uniform rental operations, specialty bags, protective covers, truck covers, and nuclear‑waste containment bags. The company’s fabric lineup spans nylon, canvas, asbestos‑substitute materials, neoprene, mesh, woven reinforced polyethylene, vinyl‑coated polyester, vinyl‑coated nylon, and vinyl‑laminated polyester. Canvas is produced from cotton duck that is impregnated with a paraffin treatment, delivering flame, water, and mildew resistance, and is offered in green, brown, or olive‑drab shades. Covers for tennis courts and athletic fields are engineered to be waterproof and resistant to ripping, rot, and mildew; they feature a silver poly coating, heat‑welded seams, and a cold‑crack formulation. These covers are constructed from woven polyethylene and PBC fabrics and incorporate three‑layer hems sewn with four‑ply polyester thread to provide UV protection. Humphrys serves customers in the trucking, athletics, recreation, military, and agriculture sectors, and its nuclear‑waste containment bags, truck covers, and tent‑age‑type components comply with military specifications.
