Novacel, Inc. provides coating and laminating solutions for roll‑based products. The firm employs a range of coating techniques, including direct and reverse gravure, Meyer‑rod, differential roll and slot‑die application. It can coat webs up to 68 inches wide and supports hot‑nip and dry‑bond laminating, drying, thermal and UV curing, as well as one‑color flexographic and inkjet printing. Laminating operations handle hot‑nip and dry‑bond bonding of multilayer film or paper up to 66 inches in width. Novacel, Inc. also manufactures decorative laminate release, gummed and casting paper, and supplies surface‑protection coated adhesive paper. Additional capabilities include in‑line printing, embossing, roll slitting, sheeting, custom packaging, ink‑jet and heat‑transfer printing, as well as microscopy and chemical, performance and physical‑properties testing performed to TAPPI and ASTM standards.
