Techwood Precision Engineering manufactures custom precision components such as dies, fixtures, molds and prototypes, and offers a full suite of CNC machining services. The company’s capabilities include CNC turning on machines sized up to 23 in. × 24 in. and 20 in. × 48 in., as well as CNC milling with a 60‑inch travel on the X‑axis and 30‑inch travel on both the Y‑ and Z‑axes. Vertical milling operations can handle workpieces up to 10 in. × 50 in., while precision grinding is available for sizes up to 10 in. × 30 in. Additional machining functions comprise honing for internal diameters ranging from 0.060 in. to 5.500 in., surface grinding of 8 in. × 20 in. parts, and heat treating of components up to 12 in. × 12 in. × 22 in. The facility also provides sawing, MIG and TIG welding, vibratory finishing, and general fabricating and material‑finishing services. Reverse‑engineering capabilities enable the production of replacement parts when original components are unavailable.
