Unalam manufactures custom glue‑laminated wood components such as floor and roof beams, arches, trusses, columns and purlins. Its glue‑laminated wood is engineered to be anti‑corrosive, resilient and capable of forming a self‑insulating char that limits heat penetration. The uncharred core of the wood remains dimensionally stable, protecting supporting walls from expansion‑related damage. Because the interior surfaces of the glue‑laminated wood do not require paint or false ceilings, the material eliminates the need for load‑bearing interior walls in wooden roof systems. Unalam also supplies packaged wood products, including laminated structural supports, steel‑type connections, roof decking and insulation. The glue‑laminated wood can be produced from FSC‑certified pure or mixed lumber, a renewable raw material that can be transformed into a wide range of useful products. Typical applications span religious structures, swimming‑pool covers, outdoor pavilions, light poles, fence posts, pedestrian and golf‑course bridges, major highway bridges as well as residential, commercial and educational buildings. All products comply with ANSI standards.
